Bad customer service at the Money Center.

This morning at 8:12am I arrived at the Rancho Cordova Walmart on Folsom Blvd. Store# 2457. I needed to send money to my daughter by Money Gram. While filling out the form, an elderly female employee approached the forms, grabbed one and went to the clerk. She started filling out the form while standing there chatting with Penne. I finished my form and had to wait for the employee to finish the form and then Penne helped her do whatever she needed. After a few minutes, another employee came to the area and helped me. If she hadn't shown up, I would have had to wait until the employee, who for the most part, cut in line and made me wait. Customers should come first...right? Penne should have told her to go and wait until I was done. If any customer were to have done the same, the clerk would have told them to go fill out the form off to the side and take the next customer. If Walmart is not doing this, than something is really wrong.

Check the cameras which I am sure are many in that area for proof of what happened. Their actions made me late getting back to work unnecessarily. Not sure what Walmart should do, but this is happening way too much at the money center.

Um...before who? Other customers? The fact that the person who cut in
line was an employee (if, in fact the were) doesn't change the fact
that at that point in time they were also a customer which as you
stated, comes first. So basicly you are complaining because they but
an customers needs above an employee which is what you want them to
do. Just because you are a customer doesn't make you any more
important then any other customer. Even if that other customer happens
to be an employee as well.

How do you know this was an employee?

and you weren't finished yet.
do employees really need to be the ones responsible for making adults
behave like adults?

Same thing happens to me at the post office all the time, there is a
sign that says to have all paperwork filled out, but people still just
grab the slips bypass everyone at the table filling them out and bring
it to the counter with them and then fill it out while the rest of us
that have it filled out wait for them.

It's not really a valid comparision then... by jeishere Fri February 24, 2012 @ 4:33 PM

I never used a Money Center but it kind of sounds like a bank setup
where the forms are off to the side like the deposit slips would be at
a bank. Just because you are off to the side filling out your
paperwork does not mean you are in line.
