GoodWill Request

Write a Letter to this Company
I was a First Premier Customer since 2008 after moving I wasn't able to get my statements and I was bombarded with fee's and could n't pay the 100 minimum payment, after calling to see if I could lower it, they refused and after not paying,it was Charged Off. After paying them back every penny this Charge Off has really affected me in obtaining Prime Credit Cards. The staff are really rude to me and all I want is a good will gesture in removing this tradeline. I know they can do this as I have seen they have done this to other people who have settled. I have paid them back and they can't understand that people make mistakes when they're young and all I want is a clean credit score.
I would just like for someone who has a heart in this company to please remove this tradeline, it was never my intention to stop paying, I just went through a rough patch and the minimum asked was to much for me to pay. Please remove this tradeline I know you can and I would be truly grateful for ever of that.

Go to www.annualcreditreport.com, pull all three bureau reports and check each website on how to create a dispute. Please note, this is a one time free service brought into law a few years back and once you exit the website on each bureau you will not be able to re-access it again without paying a fee.
You let the debt go into charge off status so it's possible the most they will do is mark the trade line "Paid in full" but they probably will not completely pull it off.
First Premier, need I say, offers credit to those who have or have had less than par credit. These types of companies do not assist with trying to better your credit in any way. A lot of times they charge large startup costs and interest rates, give you very small credit limits and don't budge after they have you as a customer.
If you "cross them" in any way, by, for example, not paying at least your minimum payment on time no matter what your circumstance is, than this is another chance for them to make more money off you.

Next time, try to negotiate with the company to remove a negative mark BEFORE you pay off your debt. If you don't owe anything, they have absolutely no incentive to offer you any good will.

The problem is perhaps in this part:
"after moving I wasn't able to get my statements"
Nowhere does it say that your debt or bills magically vanish if you can't get your statements.
I mean... you knew you were moving, so it is your responsibility to get your mail forwarded and to investigate missing bills before you get hit with fees.
As for the "I paid off every penny so remove the marks" idea... That's not how credit reporting works.
yes you want the marks removed because it hurts your credit report.
But everyone wants that. We all want pretty credit reports so that we can do whatever we want.
So why can't the rest of us get to write our own credit history too?
I'll tell you why - because doing so would make credit reporting useless. Why bother reporting when everyone just edits the truth and gives themselves scores of 1000?
this is why credit reporting need not change
especially in cases where people ignore their debts simply because they didn't see a bill.
