Today, Kroger and Supervalu joined the growing list of supermarket chains that will no longer sell ground beef treated with "pink slime" in any of their grocery stores.
Your firm has continually remained silent on this issue.
Can you PLEASE tell me if:
1) your grocery stores currently sell ground beef treated with "pink slime"
2) if "Yes" to #1 above, do you have any plans to STOP selling ground beef treated with "pink slime"?
This issue is VERY important to me because I only try to eat 100% all-natural foods and I shop every week at your grocery store in Newport, Delaware.
I need to know if the regular ground beef in your stores has been treated with "pink slime" so I can avoid buying it.
Presently, I am avoiding ground beef purchases altogether from your store until I get a definitive answer to my questions above.
Please respond ASAP as warmer weather is already here and it is getting time to break out the backyard grill.
Join Kroger, Supervalu, Costco, Publix, Whole Foods and many of the other supermarket chains and please stop selling ground beef treated with "pink slime" altogether.
