No help and no clear answers why

My son's trac phone was deactivated because the date would change when he did put minutes on it. We tried to reactivate online and it wouldn't go through so I called customer service. They would not let me buy minutes over the phone to activate his tracfone. They told me I have to go to the store and buy minutes and have a pin number to give them. (22 miles to go buy a card) I have done this over the phone before. The customer service girl told me I had to wait 4 hours and call back. They would not be open for calls in 4 hours! She would not give me an answer why I could not buy minutes. Very disappointed.

Fix their website to be able to purchase minutes. TRAIN their employees better. Maybe giving jobs to people in the USA would help our economy. I know my son should have purchased time before it expired, but the phone did not update the date when he did buy minutes - no help on that problem either!

Because most of their call centers ARE overseas and/or based outside
of the U.S.. TracFone itself is part of America Movil which is based
out of Mexico. TracFones headquarters are in Florida, but the call
centers are primarily based outside of the United States due to
cheaper cost. HOWEVER they have an Executive Resolutions call center
in Miami. That is one of the only TracFone call centers within the
United States. A simple Google search would also show this
information.
