Netflix instant streaming false advertising

Netflix states that you can stream instantly new movies, games, TV shows etc so we purchased the unit from Wal-Mart to do this which cost $98.00. After having the service for a few months we have noticed very quickley that the only movies we can get are old movies and if the movie is dated in 2011 it never made it to the big screen most of the time. I called Netflix in March of 2012 to complain and was told they we loading brand new released movies by the middle of April. Well its April 28th and the same old stuff is on there. I find that their advertising is false and their customer service does not tell the truth. We have switched back to the old way of doing it and now waiting for movies in the mail, by the way the ones i just ordered are very new and you still cannot find them on the so called "instant streaming".

1st I would like them to reimburse me for the money I wasted the past months trying out the "insteant streaming" along with the $98.00 I spent on a piece of equipment I no longer have use for to get the instant streaming. 2nd I think they should update their advertising to tell the truth about their "instant streaming" and if you get this it all old stuff or nothing no one wants to watch. Or better yet give the consumer what they advertised in the 1st place and let us see "instant streaming" of new movies.

If you were paying for the movies by mail through netflix than you
could see exactly what was streaming and what wasnt before you bought
it. Next time do some research.

Also why does netflix owe you for the $98.00 for an item you say you
had to buy? Does all it do is stream netflix?

I never had to buy a unit. My son's PS3 can get internet, you tube
and Netflix. I've had Netflix for the past 4 months and have watched
quite a few streaming 2011 movies so far. I do agree that there are
more older movies than newer 2011 stuff for streaming, but I enjoy old
movies to.

You can look at what is availble for streaming without buying any
membership. If you didn't like it you didn't have to sign up.

Is the device you bought only for netflix streaming? We use our Blu
Ray player, which also streams Pandora and You Tube. Even if we didn't
have netflix it would still be useful.
