Then don't go. It's McDonald's, not Disney World.

If you hate them, why do you go to them? Just stay in the restaurant area.

Having kids is so dang easy when you let others do all the work of raising them and taking care of them!

From when I was a kid and would get dropped off at a playground or the local pool in the summer time and be there for hours with no parents. They would give me money for the pay phone (before the time of cell phones) in case of emergency but our parents trusted us to be alone for a day.
If your properly raising your kids to be responsible, well behaved children, you don't need to helicopter.

I know it's been suggested that the managers need to step in and stop this.
The problem with that is... these children don't come to McDonald's on their own. Their parents or older siblings bring them.
In other words - they are already being accompanied by people who are suppose to look out for them and ensure their safety.
Plus - once the manager starts playing playground monitor there's going to be another big issue on hand... all the parents who start screaming about "HOW DARE YOU TELL MY CHILD HOW TO BEHAVE!"
Believe me... it DOES happen. Sometimes even when the child is endangering himself/herself. Many parents (often the ones paying for the food too!) get VERY defensive and offended if you dare tell their children how to behave.
Really this puts the managers in a tight spot.
Do they step in and force kids to play nice in the playground and risk being screamed at by the adults for daring to interfere
Or do they step back and assume that parents are going to be responsible for their own children's behavior like they're suppose to?
This really is something you need to bring to your parents' (or guardians') attention. It's their job to protect you. This isn't something they can delegate to someone else just because they're inside that person's store or restaurant.

I'd personally suggest not going into the playground if you don't like it there.
Not to mention... there's been suggestions that the playgrounds are swimming in bacteria anyway.

Tyler: you should have your parents go talk to the management team at the McD's about the bullying problem.
