Is this a restaurant that you pay for your food first? Because the story is missing some detail. Regardless the customer is always right. And obviously you wouldnt be complaining if it wasnt a horrible experience.

only the judge can decide that.
although if you have already threatened them with a lawyer it's not surprising they won't talk to you.
Many places do what I call "calling your bluff" meaning... Once you threaten them with legal action they cut off communication and tell you "have your lawyer talk to our lawyers"
Cos quite frankly some customers DO bluff about lawyers just to intimidate companies. This weeds them out. And it means those who are serious really DO have to use the lawyer now.
Please update us on whether or not your lawyer friend feels your case will win and if he/she actually takes it on for free.

I may be missing something but why did you pay for food that you did not order? Are you saying you paid for full meals you didn't order that were left on the table because you were asked to leave the restaurant for daring to complain? If it came to that I would have walked out but NOT paid for something I didn't order or want.

Did you eat all of your food and then realized that it wasn't what you ordered? How did that happen? You said that the manager said that you 'complained about the food that you already ate'
Did you?

Did you eat it?
It doesn't matter if you ordered what he thought you did... did you or did you not eat the food you were presented with?

following him? This story seems to be missing some details. But a manager should never direct you back to a server (unless this was an episode of Undercover Boss, and the "server" was really the CEO).
