Bad Attitude Of The Cashier
Posted Fri June 8, 2012 4:45 pm, by Phyllis D.
I ordered a whopper jr. w/o ketchup, mustard, maynase, and onions. When I got the meal, while I was eating the sandwich there was an extra taste. So I opened the sandwich, and noticed a slice of cheese, which I never wanted. So my husband went to the counter, and told the cashier. So the manager gave my husband back 20 cents; instead of 33 cense. So your company owes us 13 cense. For all the aggravation, why don't you send us a few sandwiches coupons. In fact you should inprove on your coffee like Mc Donalds' did.

Umm question, cheese is noticeable, how did you not notice cheese on the burger? Were you that hungry that when you opened the wrapper to the burger you just bit into it? You are suppose to inspect your food duh!

Although I ALWAYS order my plain hamburger WITHOUT cheese, Wendy's regularly puts chesses on it. This is why I always inspect my burger before I leave the drive-thru.
I hate to be the one to tell you this, but fast food employees are generally very poor at paying attention to customers.
Since they cannot tell the difference between a plain hamburger (just a hamburger and a bun; NOTHING ELSE) and a plain CHEESEburger (just a hamburger, bun and cheese ONLY), I'd advise you to ALWAYS check your burger before consuming or leaving the business.

Not every little, tiny, petty, minor inconvenience you run into in life deserves "compensation". If you didn't tell them 'no cheese' then it was hardly their fault. And what does the taste of the coffee have to do with it?

Like others have said why didn't you ask them to replace the burger instead of a refund?
Or, since you seem ok with a cheese-price refund why not ask them to explain the price difference?
I don't see why you now deserve coupons for this "aggravation" since you could have solved it yourself before you even left.
If you choose to accept it and leave and end up stewing in your own anger until it feels like a giant problem... that's not their fault, nor their obligation to fix with freebies.

I have a question...if it came with cheese and wasn't supposed to, why didn't you just ask for another one prepared correctly. And if you didn't want all those other condiments, why not just get a burger?
And please explain where the 33 cents comes from?

I suppose you expected to be treated as if you were a paying customer, and as if Burger King wanted you to remain a customer. I think they should have given you a refund on the Whopper Jr. or a new one, without cheese. It's called good will.

in the first place. They're tiny and tasteless. The meat pattie is about a sixteenth of an inch thick. In any case, I not sure why you're making a fuss over 13 cents.

If you didn't order it without cheese, then why complain that the sandwich has cheese on it? What is the purpose of ordering a Whopper Jr. with nothing on it? Why not just order a couple of plain hamburgers? As for the coffee, they sell Seattle's Best which, in my opinion, is pretty good.
