Kenmore Range

My husband and I purchased a Kenmore range in 2008. Last year the control board burned up and we need to replace it.The service required two days to repair (and two days off of work) since they had to order the part. We got a service agreement and one year and two days later the same issue has occurred. Sears required us to purchase a new agreement since the old one was for one year and we did. The serviceman came out this week and once again the part needed to be reordered.I was scheduled for the work to be done today. They just called to reschedule. I am now stuck with yet another day to be taken off of work. It's unbelievable how a company can not provide you with the customer care that they say they have. I'd love to know if anyone else has had issues with their ranges. To have this occur twice within a year is insane.

Pay for the part to be replaced.

I had a dishwasher like that; it was designed with an underpowered
sump that burned out twice in two years. Sorry, you're out of
warranty doesn't cut it when the company sold you a defective design
or a lemon. I bought a bottom of the line GE dishwasher that's worked
just fine ever since. The OP may need to get a different brand of
stove if Sears won't come through. If a part dies twice in two years
in normal use, it's either designed wrong or the entire appliance is
bad. They need to fix it on their dime, since they sold a defective
item.
