Dear Rubbermaid Consumer Products,
I am very pleased at the service and response of your Consumer Service Representative Elise to my e-mail this week.
I had purchased one of your cans from a Big Lots a while back. The can was used only for storage of dry dog food. It was kept in the food pantry inside my home (climate controlled).
This week I noticed the lid had cracked in 3 places. I e-mailed your company asking if you had a replacement lid that I could possibly buy,or you could send me. The can is perfect outside of the lid. I hated to throw it out creating waste.
Your CS person Elise contacted me and asked me to check for the product number on the can. I found a bit more info than I even knew I had when looking. The original store product sticker was on the can. It even stated Lifetime Warranty. I sent the UPC, and all the info from the sticker to your CS.
Today, I received a nice e-mail from Elise. It stated for me to pull the sticker, and send it to her attention, and she would send me a replacement certificate upon receiving the label.
I appreciate your company standing behind your products. I even more appreciate the great customer service provided by Elise.
Nice to see some companies still care about their customers. I know I will not hesitate to buy from Rubbermaid again in the future.
