Sour Skittles Hurting Mouth,

Posted Sun June 24, 2012 1:22 pm, by Adam P. written to SKITTLES

Write a Letter to this Company

I purchased a bag of sour skittles at the movie theater last night. After eating them, I noticed that the skin on the roof of my mouth was hurting and bleeding and my tongue felt like it was on fire! This pain made it really hard to eat food and even today, my tongue still hurts and the roof of my mouth is still bleeding.

I would like skittles to give me some sort of compensation for this.

You know, I went to the doctor once because I suddenly had sores along
the sides of my tongue and on my gums. It turns out, HOT WINGS were
the cause! I'd eaten them twice that week (I can't handle the heat
well anyway). Now, I don't eat hot wings.

No compensation for you, that's just life.

Sour candies rely on a lot of citric acid for the sourness. You
obviously have a sensitivity to it. Don't eat them again.

Have you gone to the dentist to find out why 1) your tongue hurts & 2)
the roof of your mouth is bleeding?

have made the roof of your mouth bleed? Before writing a letter
asking for compensation, I would be more concerned with why my mouth
is bleeding for no apparent reason.
