I would like to give credit where credit is due.
Yesterday at approximately the same time I registered my fury at the level of service I received from Olympic Group in Egypt.
Since late last night I have throughout all of today and well into the evening, I have been contacted by many people at all levels within the Olympic Group.
Although I did end up purchasing a competitor product, I must acknowledge the effort demonstrated sincerely at all levels throughout the organization from the CEO downwards to ensure that I am happy and content.
They did take the complaint to heart, went out of their way over the phone in numerous telephone conversations and physically drove hours to compensate my mishap. They even kept calling even though at one point my battery died. Once I recharged the phone, they called again.
Frankly, I am pleased and somewhat proud. I am pleased that I was taken care of as a customer and proud that they love their brand. I am also proud that they proved that bad customer service is NOT reflective of Egypt.
Although I would not rush and buy Olympic Products, I will be inclined to give another try at some point in the future.
