CD players to be returned

I ordered CD players online; however, later, I found that I could not use all the ones I purchase due to the expense for batteries. I tried to return the items in a local Walmart store in which I was informed that I needed to return the items through the online department. I e-mailed Walmart Customer Service and did not receive any response to my e-mail. I called and was told to take it to the store and I did. One store did give me credit for 2 items, but when I brought the rest they told me that they were not in their inventory and I needed to return them through the online department. It has been over a year and finally I got a human on the telephone who told me that they will not take them through the online department/customer service because they have a 90 day return policy. It would not have taken me over a year if I had received the correct information from the very beginning. I am now stuck with 4 CD players @15.00 a piece and with no need for them..... Aggravated with their run around and lack of support.

I need them to take them in the local store and give me credit for the CD players, the items are in the original wrap, never been opened/damaged and I am just a customer/teacher who bought them and want to return them in good faith. I have the original receipt. I want them to resolve the issue without making me feel stupid and waste my time.

It's too late. My goodness. At $15 each, just donate them.

I stopped when you said "year".

contact info:
http://www.walmart.com/cservice/cu_comments_online.gsp?cu_heading=8

return info: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.gsp?cat=538459

all found in less than a minutes online. and there's even a "Start a
return" button you can click to start your return.

I know you want to say "i couldn't get ahold of them" and force them
to take a return NINE MONTHS after it was expired but... how can they
verify this as true? They can't.

which is why they can only stick to the facts - when it was purchased
and what date it is now.

sandra V.,

Sounds like time for eBay, Craigslist, Yard Sale or gifting to some
deserving folks.
