Lower the price on veggie sandwiches please!

I am a vegetarian and I don't eat cheese. Yet when I order a veggie delight footlong without cheese, I pay the same price as someone who gets meat and cheese! To top it off, avocado still costs $1.50 extra so I am paying about $7 for just bread and veggies! I find this very unfair and I will not eat at subway again until this is fixed.
Subway should make the price of the veggie sandwich lower than the price of a meat sandwich. The veggie sandwich has less "product" so it should cost less. This issue makes many vegetarians angry so I think it would be beneficial to Subway to lower the price. Many vegetarians like to eat at subway since it is a healthier fast food option, so lowering prices on the veggie sandwich = more business for subway. Not only is it common sense and the right thing to do, but I believe it would be beneficial to Subway.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Julia

the junk food and processed stuff like the cheese, breads and the meats are cheap, it's the veggies that don't keep very long and are really pricey that actually drive the cost up.
I can see where you're thinking that just veggies should be cheaper, but it actually is the most expensive part of the sandwich.
Personally, I tkink it's kind of messed up. People in this country are so fat because Whopper meals are quick and cheap and a salad or other healthy meal option costs twice as much for significantly less food!

When I buy a sandwich at any restaurant without some items on it I don't get a lower price. I do not eat vegetables so I always ask for burgers and sandwiches without them. Also, I don't think lower prices will make more people eat at Subway.

Our meat prices are locked in place by contracts, but vegetable prices change almost every week.
In the winter and early spring - veggies can cost waaayy more than meat.

get all of your veggies thrown in when I get some meaty thing. But avocados are expensive, so it makes sense to pay for those (and it looks like you might agree with that).
Good suggestion.
