No customer service, just bounced around

Write a Letter to this Company
I went to the store and was encouraged to apply for their Kay's credit card. The decision took a while which the rep said was usually good as a denial was quicker. So minutes later, she informs me I was denied. I was shocked as I know I am a regular shopper or Kay's and so is my mother (who had a card with them for over a decade). She says to wait for a letter and doesn't know which report was pulled. I went home and see they pulled EQ and knew I was declined for inquires. I recently moved so have a lot from apt hunting and getting new utilities as well as several from a cu I just joined and opened a checking and savings with. I call the customer service line so I can speak with an analyst to try to overturn their decision. Rep rudely tells me I can't speak to them not will she contact them for me to explain the inquiries. She said I could write a letter or the store where I applied can call for me. I called the store and they said they can call but the credit dept never shares anything with them. So I feel like I'm in a game of tug o war and being bounced around with no one wanting to help a loyal customer.
I'd like the opportunity to speak to the credit rep to reconsider their decision.
