Bank of America gave out my bank balance to a family member that was making a deposit into my bank account. I have a security alert on my account, since the last couple of years and was shocked that the teller never even asked for ID. So what good is the dumb security alert?

We had a bill from GE Money for our Chevron/Texaco account. It was due on August 14. Due to work schedule and paydays, we went online to pay the bill ON THE 14TH of August at approx. 12:30pm. The account already showed a late charge and info indicated that for payment to be credited that day, it had to be posted by 11:59 EST.

After paying loyally for years on a boat loan while millions of other are defaulting like crazy we get down to the last payment. I talked to a supervisor today I believe to be named 'Ben' about a duplicate charge to my account. He has poor customer service. It was not that he couldn't help me, it was his approach. He was not polite or friendly at all and acted like I was a bother.
