I bought a 20 pak Dollar General AA batteries in Meridianville, AL in April. I put (4) batteries in my Smartway Talking thermostat and one of them exploded, boiling black stuff all over my elec board. I signed up for Blockbuster Rewards while in Store and paid $15. Few minutes later changed my mind and decided to cancel the rewards program. The Manager said he can only refund as a store credit and cannot cancel the rewards program. I said I do not want credit and it is only few minutes since I signed up and want my money back to my amex credit...

Igo to dollar general at new johnsonville tn to save money' but just about every time i checkout i get asked to contribute to some fund,i don't mind giving but i don't like being ask in a store.
For the employees not to ask for money at the checkout counter. they can put a jar on the counter for people to give if they want to.
