 Faulty Sealy Electric Blankets with dual controls

Purchased a Sealy Electric Blanket with dual controls at J.C. Penney Store in Billings, Montana on July 25,2010; lot # on control 471109. Recently, on August 22,2010, my husband and I were awakened at 0300 hours by popping sounds and odor of electric smoke. One of the controls from the electric blanket was smoking; although the blanket was plugged into an electric socket, both dual controls were not in use. This is a serious life/health safety issue.
Recall these blankets.
