Juniper/RaceTrac Credit Card Application

Hello,

I am writing requesting reconsideration of the denial of my recent Juniper/RaceTrac application on 6/7/06.

It appears I was denied after viewing my Transunion credit report for the following reason:

- Derogatory information in my credit file.

After obtaining a copy of my Transunion credit report I noticed my Citi/Shell account is showing derogatory. Please notice I have never had a late payment with Shell. TU also shows the account is closed. I used my Shell card today. TU is reporting this account in error.

Also I notice one single late payment to American Honda Finance. I have never been late and will be more than happy to provide you a copy of my check back and front as proof of no late payment. I will also be happy to provide you a copy of my current Citi/Shell statement showing I am in good standing and the account is open.

Please notice I have no other late payments, collection accounts or negative items. I have been paying all of my bills on time every month for several years now.

I appreciate you taking the time to reconsider my application. I hope my explanation clears things up so I can be another proud Juniper/RaceTrac cardholder.

Approve my application. I look forward to a long excellent relationship with Juniper/RaceTrac.

Thank you for your reply. We will agree to disagree. I am a
supervisor for one of the largest banks in the US. Juniper can
reconsider my application based on the information I have given them.
I have contacted Shell and was told they never reported my account
closed or derogatory. As for my car payment I have a copy of my check
showing I was never 30 days late and disputed it. I have perfect
credit and feel certain Juniper will approve my application.

I work for a credit card company and writing in to say you dont have
these deliquencies will not enable them to review your credit
application again. You need to contact the companies that are
reporting the inaccurate information on your credit bureau report.
They will probably give you an address to write to and will request
you send in copy of your credit report showing these deliquencies,
also keep in mind they do have 30-60 days to resolve this. If they do
not resolve it or fix it then you would need to contact the transunion
to dispute it through them.
