pur water unit and ill fiting adapter

I purchased a pur water filtrarion system.Faucet mount model #FM 5050B. The adapter provided was not deep enough to grip the faucet. I called the company (1800-787-5463) and they sent me a new adapter which fit my sink. However the unit didn;t click into the adapter as it is supposed to and I waited 2 weeks for this. Then I called the above mentioned number and spoke to a supervisor named Matt. Matt said that he could not understand this happening. This is their unit and their adapter why couldn't they make sure that they click and hold. They sent me a new unit (another two weeks). Guess what? that unit didn't hold either. Wouldn't it have been more intelligent to send me an adapter and unit that click and hold. This product is distributed by Proctor and Gamble in Cincinatti,Ohio
Send me an adapter that has enough threads to grip my faucet and was tested to grip the unit. Please don't make me wait another two weeks. This has been going on for over a month.
