ok guys r you ready for this one i live in kansas city and i recently opened a credit card with sears and k mart well they told us u dont even have to wait till you get your card in the mail you cango to any sears or k mart and show them your id as well as give them your account number so we did last weekend and made small purchis at sears and then at k mart everything ok well this past weekend sunday decided to go to sears and k mart jewlry departments looking for a ring for my girlfriend after looking at all the sears and all k mart in our area we found the ring she wanted at the k mart in gladston mo so we gave the lady our id and account number and she looked at us like we wher stupid i explained to her what we wher doing she rased her voice and said u cant use that u gota have a card to purchis this ring i explaind to her that this is what they told us to use untill our card arrived in the mailas well as showed her the recite wher just the week before that we made purcheses in thismanor so in a profecanal manor i chalenged her and she got very loud and said i will call the police you are trying to commit frud then started on my girl friend so i fliped out my cell phone witch has vidio on it and started vidioing this k mart employey going off and what came out of her mouth next floored me she told my girl friend you better think twice be for you merry this man i was married to a narsasit abussiv guy like him for 18 years couldnt belev it and i have this on vidio gave k mart and sears every opertunity to make this rite and a district manager called me back and was very very apoligetic and informed me that they viewed the tape and heard what she said offerd me 100 gift card if i didnt press charges for slander as well as discrimanation and i no this is discrimanation because we met with an attorny and showed him the vidio on my phone of what this employee did he called his other partners in the room and said watch this they all about fell out of ther chairs i declined ther 100 dolar offer and i will see them in court

as soon as this hits the news and 20 20 they will pay dearly because we are not lying down on this one we going to court so get ready sears and k mart the law suit is coming i gave 3 calls to excecutive office and he declined to talk so you just turned a little mess into a big law suit

Re: gave you every chans to rectify this by Nicole F. Posted Fri March 20, 2009 @ 8:55 PM I'm very confused by what happened. I understand that you opened a credit card with Sears and K-mart. You should have a "shopping pass" at the bottom of the receipt, at least, this is how it is taken care of on the Sears side. All you have to do to use the card is present the shopping pass and your driver's license and thing's should be okay. They might have had to call to get the transaction approved through Credit Central, but that's it. Now, I don't know if this is the same on K-mart's side, but when you told them you had an account, I think they could have looked it up for you. You can't just hand them a piece of paper with the account number, though, that raises red flags...also, if you had just opened the card, you wouldn't have the account number straight off anyway. It is not printed on the receipt, to my knowledge, and you only get the account number when you receive the card. Anyhow, based on what I know, any associate would know how to look up the account number with your drivers license and social security number. You never accuse the customer of anything...this is why I am finding this difficult to believe, but who knows? You say you gave the company every chance to make it right...but it seems that they attempted to and you rejected what they offered. I hope by posting this, you don't ruin your chances at this "big law suit" you are talking about. Also, as descriptive as your letter is, I don't know what the discrimination is. She said you were a narcissist and abusive, but I don't know those are protected groups. Reply
