retrain your employes in costumer service

This Kmart is a joke! They never have merchandise, and the managment is extremly rude and crass! Once again I went in to get a few things with the gift card I got from fruit of the loom. Got up to the checkout, what no help? I'm not surprised. Next cashier can't figure out how to use coupons so she calls a mananger. She then tells me for the second time in a month they will not take my coupons because they are worth 1 penny more then the sale price. Last month they wouldn't let me use the p&g/duracell coupon the first day it came out. I had 1. I also had about 75.00 more then the coupon required. Rude, rude, cashier that day wrote on my coupon then wouldn't take them. I left everything there and went to a different store. I'm not sure I will ever go back.

Management at this store needs to be retrained in customer service. I don't have to shop at your store so if you are not friendly I won't come back and I will spread the word. I think the management at this store owes me an apology. Thank you for listening. Melanie Az.

Melanie,
My name is Mike Workman. I am the Store Coach at the K Mart on Main
and Lindsay. Could you please let me know if this happened at my
store? This is not the culture I want in my store. We are here to
make you a satisfied customer that wants to come back and shop. My
email address is sm3188@searshc.com. The phone number to the store is
480-832-2650. I will be here all day Saturday. I would really like
to meet you and make this situation right.
Thanks for your time.
Mike

Ha! This just makes me laugh...especially since you spell it
correctly later in the letter!

Are they putting on a play???? Hosting a fashion show???

Then I agree, they definitely need to be trained to be "costumers."

So their registers couldn't adjust the amount down for a penny? I've
used coupons that were for more than the sale amount, and in the past
they gave the change back on it but then eventually adjusted the
registers to give only the amount free for the sale. The rest was a
wash. That is fine with me, but to not accept them doesn't sound
right.

Someone who corrects your spelling and/or grammar isn't being "mean."
I suggest you go to dictionary.com and look up the meaning of that
word. Simply disagreeing isn't "mean." I suggest you try the words
"infuriating" or "annoying."

You're welcome.

I'm trying to figure out if your spelling mistakes are because your
letter is written in anger or because you honestly think that customer
is spelled "costumer." While it says you are from Arizona, I'll bet
K-mart has more than one store in Arizona. Why don't you rewrite your
letter slowly and calmly, include the store number and/or location,
maybe the name of the employee you are displeased with. I'm not sure
if the apology will be forthcoming,or even what else to ask for, but
calming down might be a start-

A lot of people that post here want apologies. I keep saying what
good is an apology if it means nothing. What good is an apology if it
is forced. They don't say sorry because they really are sorry. It's
like when you are in school your friend an idiot and slug him. The
teacher orders you to apologise and you do because you were asked to
secretly you cross your fingers behind your back and are not really
sorry.
