Unprofessional Personel

Posted Mon May 5, 2008 6:37 pm, by Charlene M. written to Lane Bryant

Write a Letter to this Company

I paid my bill online one time and I did not recieve a bill in the mail for 2 months. I didn't realize it until it was too late. They called me and told me I was 2 months behind and I said how could that be. They said when I paid my bill on there website I automatically agreed to no more paper statements. So then I have all these outrageous late fees. I was contacted and the person told me to get off my fat lazy a** and get a job. (I am a size 6 with extremely large chest). (I also work 50 to 60 hours a week). I received a second call a week later from there collection company and they said to get off my couch and stop eating donuts. (I don't eat sweets either) Every time I called tried to nicely tell them what happened but they cut me off with the very unprofessional remarks.

I want those fees and late penalties removed. To the balance I had before making the terrible mistake of using the Lane Bryant website payment plan.

Not receiving a bill is no excuse for not paying your bill. I have a
lot of bills that are paid through there website and I don't receive a
paper bill anymore, and they are paid on time every month. You know
it is due every month. Try getting a large calendar and writing these
things down. I have a few bills that I have to keep track of this way
or I will forget to pay, but it is no excuse as to why they should
waive a fee if it occurs.

Did they really say those things? Not that I don't believe you but
that is awful!!! It's also a bit hypocritical on their part.
Is there a way you can go back in online and change things at all?
