Tell Customers Your Items Run Small

Posted Fri November 6, 2009 12:00 pm, by Diana J. written to Logosportswear

I am writing to you today concerning order number 221024. I have sent this email once before and have gotten no response.

We are a group of teachers who wanted to get a team shirt to wear at school on our “Spirit Days”. We ordered item number 18311, the Ladies Replica Football Jersey. We all followed the sizing chart as described. When we received the shirts, all nine were too small. Although the description says to order one size larger for a "looser" fit, this is misleading. I normally wear a small shirt so ordered a medium. The shirt is extremely tight. I wouldn't even consider a large, I would get an extra large. After receiving our order, we noticed another customer had made the same comment--that she normally wears a medium yet had to order a 2 XL!! I have attached her review below. Note the date, unfortunately we saw this review only AFTER our items had been ordered and shipped. Obviously, she knew something about the shirts we didn't.

We have called and explained the problem, yet customer service has not been helpful. While we absolutely understand the policy on personalized items, this is obviously not an error on our part because all nine shirts are too small, not just one or two. We are now "stuck" with $35 shirts that will go unworn. Logo Sportswear has also lost potential business, because other teams were planning on purchasing from the site but will not now based on our experience.
I am truly hoping that you can assist us in this matter and rectify this situation. Again, we understand your policy and if it were one or two shirts it would be our error. But with all nine being too small, this is an error in the website description.

Thank you for your assistance, I look forward to hearing from you.

Comments about Augusta Ladies Replica Football Jersey:
This is the feminine jersey I've been looking for! Outlines your body and compliments the female shape (and it's hard to compliment my shape!) This is a junior shirt however, pay attention to the sizing charts. I normally wear Med if normal, Large if it runs small. I ordered 2XL because of the sizing chart and it's just perfect. This I will order again and again. I need white and red now!

Were the specific measurements on the sizing chart accurate? If so, I
do not think anything was falsely represented. Sizing varies between
brands. While this one was extreme, at least they provided the
measurements.

I was in total agreement with your letter until I got to the end and
read the review from the other person. She states:

"This is a junior shirt however, pay attention to the sizing charts. I
normally wear Med if normal, Large if it runs small. I ordered 2XL
because of the sizing chart and it's just perfect."

She said that she ordered the larger size based on the sizing chart
provided. How come when she ordered based on the sizing chart
provided, she ended up with exactly the right fit, yet all 9 of you
claim to have gone by the size chart and ended up with sizes that were
too small? I don't think that adding that review at the end of the
letter helped your case. To me, it just showed that their sizing chart
was correct and that they are not at fault here.

Put them to good use, donate them to a Children's hospital. The
children would love to have them.

Small price to pay to light up a child's eyes

Good Day

Is it possible that the shirts you ordered are junior, young adult or
even children's' sizes? I noticed that David's Mom said it's a
junior shirt. If you wear an adult size small, you shouldn't have to
order XL. I agree that the description is completely inaccurate.

I hope they can do something for you.
