In these difficult economic times, I have a suggestion for how you can save money. Fire your entire Customer Care Department and replace it with a few lines of computer code that receives the requests, sends an automatic reply asking for the name and location of the store in question (even if the request does not relate to a specific store), and once this information is received, e-mails the...

My experience with Troybilt and Briggs & Stratton, manufacturers of lawn & other outdoor products that Lowe's sells, will lead me to discontinuing my patronage with Lowe's, pending the outcome of posting this complaint.

I purchased a snowthrower 2 years ago from Lowe's.
I also purchased an extended warrenty with it.
After 18 months the pullrope broke.
I returned to the store of purchase to get it repaired.
There I was informed I would have to call the service number.
When I called the service number I was informed I would have to produce my original sales receipt before any repair was performed.

I purchased and had installed by Lowe's a Pergot laminate floor throughout my office. We had chosed 4 1/2 -inch wood base board and the flooring people installed 3 inch baseboard which left a 2-inch gap between the boards and the end of the wallpaper.
