I would like to compliment Caroline Cruz Executive assistant to Macy's CEO for her professionalism and courtesy extended to me recently when I contacted them for a goodwill adjustment of my credit report. I lost my husband to cancer a year ago and during his struggle/fight with the disease I fell behind on my macy's card payment. I have gotten back on my feet and have paid off the Macy's care and I was hoping for a one time account re-aging to be able to buy my children our first home. Well I wrote Macy's CEO requesting their mercy and forgiveness and explaining my situation to them. Although they declined my request, the way that Caroline handled the situation with grace, humility and respect left a lot to be desired about Macy's customer service. I appreciate everything she said and spending the time to just look into my request and although I am still stuck with the negative remarks I am going to continue being a loyal Macy's customer. I'll just have to hold-off on my mortgage until the Macy's account ages or falls off. Thanks Caroline!
