I have closed my credit account with Macy's and will no longer shop in the stores or online.
I have been a very loyal and good customer paid my bill on time every month. then they started to lower my limit every month and finally I said enough is enough and closed the card.

I returned some cosmetics to my local Macy’s store that I ordered online. I thought that they would simply be recharged to my account and that the return hadn’t shown yet for some reason. 1) Their phone-system is atrocious.
2) They hung up on me after disconnecting twice -- all I was asking was for a representative to repeat a question.
I could not believe I was hung up on -- it was clearly an incompetent phone service representative.
Improve their service -- fix their phone system.

On November 26th, Macys.com offered RipStiks online for $20. I ordered three and added some clothing in order to bring my total up so I could use a coupon.
On December 3rd, I was notified that the $20 price was an error, and I was offered the opportunity to purchase the Ripstiks for $75 each.
