My wife (Melissa Jennings) called on 9/15/2009 to let Macy's know we had inadvertently made a double payment.
We made a $2,000 payment on 9/9/2009 through our bank's website and inadvertently made a second payment in the same amount on 9/10/2009.
Two $2,000 payments were made. This put a huge dent in our checking
account - imagine $4,000 taken in 2 days!!

For my Birthday my friend purchased and gave me a Macy's card with a $25 total. I used it about three weeks ago to buy a jar of Clinique lotion. They didn't have the correct lotion for oily skin, but they were running the "free gift with purchase," so the Sales Associate told me to buy the one for normal skin and she would make me a small sample jar of the correct lotion, and then she would order...

Went to purchase a leather sofa/loveseat at Macys in downtown Pittsburgh location. The items were not in the computer system so they salesmans said he would call back the next day.
I received a call back 3 days later; I still ended up ordering the items.

I have been a Macys customer since August 2003 and during that time, I have enjoyed my experience with Macys greatly. I am writing to see if you would be willing to make a "goodwill" adjustment to your reporting to the three credit agencies. While unemployed I had a few late payments but paid the balance in full.
