macys roosevelt field mall

I was in one of your macys stores and I had bought a dress from macys in manhassett and the dress didn't fit so the same day I went back to macys a different location it was Roosevelt field mall and when I went to the register to return. The dress they said I was unable too because there was no return sticker on the dress that one of your employees failed to put on. I then asked for a manager who came over and was rude he told me that there was nothing that he could do I had all tags and the receipt, the dress was never worn. The manager then told me that many stores sell that same dress and was yelling at me that he was not taking the dress back. I then made explained everything to the manager and he again yelled and talked to me like I didn't have a receipt but I did I told him I wanted to speak with someone else and he finally did the refund with an attitude and talked about me to a coworker when I had walked away

Speak to there employees I felt disrespected and will never shop at macys again.

Macy's used to be a great place to shop, now they are just an
overpriced Sears and headed to the same fate.

Not only did you return the dress without a return slip, you returned
it to the wrong store. Be happy they took the return at all.

I'm just curious..what is a return sticker? I worked for Macy's
(Broadway Mall, Hicksville) and never heard of this unless it's
something new. We took most everything back, with or without receipts
or tags. The only issue we had was with no tags or receipt the
customer got the lowest sale price in the last 90 days for that item.

Instead of the department manager I would call and ask to speak to the
store manager. You might also try returning it directly to Manhasset
or try the Hicksville store, they are both smaller. You shouldn't
have to but you might have a nicer experience at one of those stores.
You never would have gotten treated like that at Broadway Mall.

ARgh, I wish he hadn't processed the refund, because YOU DON'T DESERVE
IT. YOu didn't have the receipt, the tags weren't right.

Thank god you won't shop at Macy's, because *I* shop there.

The Macy's employee should have included the return sticker, but did
you ask the employee what needed to be done just in case the dress did
not fit?
