Inaccurate Reporting on Credit Bureau - Experian

Posted Sat February 11, 2006 11:33 am, by ERIC S. written to MBNA

I have derrogatory information from MBNA reporting on my Experian credit report. I do not believe this information is reporting correctly. It shows my first 30 day deliquency as August/November 1999, when according to my records it should show as March 1999. My Transunion report had a first deliquency as 03/99 and has since fallen off because it has reached the 7 year mark. I would like someone at MBNA to look into this and remove any inaccurate information.

Experian keeps "verifying" while Transunion and Equifax has updated
with the correct information. Thanks for your suggestion!

The way to get this taken care of is to ask Experian to investigate
the date of the derrogatory rating by MBNA for you. They will send
them an inquiry and unless MBNA can provide written proof Experian is
required to delete the entry from your credit report.
