Reconsideration for MBNA credit card

I was recently declined for a card due to inquiries and deliquent accounts on my Experian credit report.
I do have inquiries on my report becuase earlier in the year I shopped around for a mortgage.
The deliquent account(s) is my Providian card account which was closed because at the time I had family issues. I have paid it off in full as I make sure I pay my debts.
I have 12 years of good credit history.
If you review my report I have a very good payment record.
I am trying to build my credit and getting your card will allow me to help build a better future in terms of my credit worthiness.
I like everyone else has a few bumps on their credit report but I hope I deserve a second chance and would like to become part of the MBNA family.

Ummm hello, you have posted the same letter for 5 different companies.
Do you have any idea what you have done to your credit rating by
applying for so many lines of credit? The creditors know you are
desperate, they are not going to take a chance on you.

MBNA WILL NOT RECONSIDER YOU UNLESS YOU CALL BACK AND RE DO THE
APPLICATION, WHICH WILL JUST BE ANOTHER HIT ON YOUR CREDIT
BUREAU....BELIEVE ME...I USED TO WORK THERE.
