i have recently gone through your drive thru and experienced one of your employees being horribly rude to me, i just thought you should know, be careful who you hire because when i'm paying for the service, i don't appreciate someone elses bad day affecting my day! if they are having a bad day, they can deal with it them selves! thank you!

be careful you make sure employees are in good spirits about serving other people!

I echo what Mary Jo said.

Here is my advice: bring this to a manager's attention. I had this
same problem recently, but at a Burger King. I took my receipt in a
few days later and spoke to a manager. As soon as she saw who the CSR
was that handled my order, she said "Oh, she has a reputation for
acting that way."

I (as politely as possible) pointed out that in the face of the CSR's
unprovoked rudeness I had remained cheerful and polite, and that the
CSR should possibly consider another profession if she couldn't keep
her personal problems from affecting her job. The manager was
understanding, gave me a coupon for a meal, and said she would address
the issue.

Hopefully you can discuss your problem with a manager so he/she can
address the issue. Posting here won't achieve the same thing you can
do locally. By the way, in the letter you wrote did you include the
location and CSR's name? If not the letter won't result in anything
being done anyway. Go in and handle this personally. Be honest about
how it made you feel and what took place. They should listen.

I had a few responses bouncing around in my head, but Mary Jo pretty
much covered everything. So... yeah, what she said. ESPECIALLY the
"how were they rude" bit.

A.) Which location?

B.) How exactly was this employee rude? You dont say which makes it
very hard to believe.

C.) If you assume someone is having a bad day then why dont you try to
help change their day and offer some kind words to them. Fast food,
resturant and retail employees are human beings too and they dont get
to hide in an office or cubible when they have a rough day. If someone
is having a bad day I would think you would have SYMPATHY for them.
Not try to report them to headquarters.

How exactly should McDonalds make sure all their employees are in good
spirits? Just because you came across one who was probably over
worked, tired, under paid, and who probably had 1000 things on her
mind about her own family and Christmas doesnt meant that ALL their
employees are the same.

I have actually be very suprised. I have recently been going to
McDonalds often. Not because i want to, but because my son loves
Bionicles and we have been trying to collect them. Actually, I have
been without him knowing because I am giving them to him at Christmas.
But I have actually encountered some VERY happy McDonalds employees.
Very friends and personable.I have been pleasently suprised.

Maybe its just you? Maybe they are reflecting your attitude towards
