BBQ sauce

Seriously? 30 cents for a BBQ sauce? Maybe you should take away the Ronald McDonald charity donation box and put a McDonald's franchise owner charity, since they seem to be headed for the bread lines due to sauce bankruptcy. Now don't get me wrong, I understand it's an expense, but you will never convince me that it costs you anywhere remotely near 30 cents. It's not like we're coming in and ordering a sauce for lunch. I just paid 6 dollars for a chicken sandwich and I want BBQ sauce on it instead of mayo. For this I get extorted 30 cents. What's going to affect your bottom line more, giving me a 3 cent sauce packet, or the fact that I'll be going to Wendy's from now on. They have NEVER charged me before.

I hope that you are not the same person that complains that minimum
wage jobs do not pay enough.

Solution: Don't go to McDonalds. Your body will thank you for it.

It's as if people suddenly think corporations are suppose to just pass
items along at cost and that "profit" is a dirty word.

A company that sells at cost ... is a company that GETS sold off
because of financial ruin.

You would be surpised, one of the places my wife used to work at had
to start charging for extra salad dressing because the Newmans own
packets cost the restaurant .50 cents each.

I am sure that McDonalds own BBQ packets are cheap but .30 cents for
extra doesnt sound like much.

I don't think they should have charged you at all. The bbq sauce is
bought in a huge gallon type container. Asking for packets? I can
understand being charged for those. But just to get a squirt of a
condiment out of the giant container?

That owner is a doosh.

I do agree that if you're swapping out one sauce for another(BBQ
instead of mayo), there should be some way of making this happen for a
customer.

I prefer tartar sauce as a dip for my tenders. I don't like that if I
want my preferred sauce, I'm saving McD's a dime(in our area) on the
BBQ and being charged a dime on the tartar.

It does not cost them .30. This is because of the "Large bottomless
shoulder/handbag" that gains weight when a fast food restaurant that
has the condiments put out without controlling them. I have actually
seen people go to the counter and ask for the ketchup packets at
McDonalds because of the little plastic cups that are filled at a
dispensing station. Then the person gets angry because they are told
that additional packets are $.XX each. I have seen this happen on
numerous occaisions where there is no apparent purchase.

The majority suffer because of these few scam artists

This is nothing new unfortunately. Several years ago McDonalds in my
town started charging ten cents a packet for ketchup if you wanted
more than one with a small fry or two with a medium or large.

Subway charged me a extra 50 cents for extra southwest sauce on my sub
and I seem to recall a letter here a long time ago that they were
charging for extra napkins.
