I bought an XBOX360 shortly after they were released by Microsoft. The first generation of XBOX360's released had one of if not the highest rate of failure of any console gaming system. This is a direct quote from a Service Supervisor at Microsoft. He mentioned something like a 30% failure rate.

My unit was repaired by Microsoft 3 times and never worked for 6 consecutive months after being...

My Xbox live account was hacked in July '11. I was charged $150 worth of MS Points to my credit card and then my account was "moved" to Russia. I contacted Microsoft immediately and was assured my account and the funds would both be promptly returned to me. My credit card on file with XBox Live was hacked. I had three charges: $94.99; $74.99; and $49.99, charged to my credit card. When I called Microsoft, I was told that points had been bought and distributed between members of the family plan. 1) The only person on the family plan is my son; 2) He did not purchase points and would not without permission; and 3) My husband died five weeks ago, and...
