Microsoft I believe is responsible for Outlook express. the first email that I receive when on line opens by itself. I have not been able to find any self help that lists a problem like this. I also find no telephone numbers that I can call to report this with out them charging me a fee. If an email opens and it contains a bug or virus I will be helpless.
please contact me and tell me how to correct this dangerous problem with Outlook Express or if it isn't your problem please tell my who and how to get in contact with them

Microsoft produced Outlook Express as part of Internet Explorer, but you may not necessarily have free support on it. Did your current version of Windows come with your machine when you bought it? If so, that computer manufacturer is actually the one that should provide support, /even on the Microsoft components/. Of course, if your warranty has run out with them, you may have no choice but to pay for engineer-assisted support.

The feature you refer to, I believe, is called the "Reading" or "Preview" Pane. In the latest versions, by default, it protects against most security issues by blocking HTML and other places where badness lurks.
You'd do well do take a look at the online help to understand how to turn off this functionality, if you don't like it. If you need assistance is locating the right section in help, feel free to send me an e-mail.
Microsoft does not respond to requests for technical assistance based on letters. Your choices are to call them (and, yes, that might require paying a fee) or to look to others for help.

You're better off callng Microsoft directly and speaking to a technician then waiting for a return email. I'm sure they get thousands and thousands of emails a day. Just call them.
