Once again Vista has locked up on me. I guess I should be thankful it only locked up 3 times today. Internet is as slow as ever on Vista. That wouldn't be so bad if I did not have highspeed connection.
I am not surprised no one from microsoft called about my last letter apparently no there cares. When your number one, caring, and customer service goes out the door.
I have made it my lifes work to repeatly complain about Vista until Bill or someone else fixes it, replaces it, or admits the issues they are having. So I will post to planetfeedback.com every time Vista locks up or underperforms which of course may take up my entire day. I did not realize that by buying a product with Vista that I would be buying into such a commitment.
Fix it, or send me a free copy of XP. I know XP works a ton better than Vista.

did you try and run a spyware and virus check on your pc ? if you have norton products installed on the pc they suck up alot of ram and could cuase the pc slowdown
vista service pack 1 is still in testing and due out 1Q of 2008 and might fix some of your problems

From what I understand, Vista needs at the very least one gig of ram to run at a minimal level, two are recomended, and even then it's sluggish and unstable. Microsoft's website has a vista compatibility wizard you may want to run to see if your computer may need upgrades even though it's sold as vista ready.
I doubt a campaign of writing letters on this or any site will get Bill or Microsoft to tapdance for you.

You know, it's funny. I read so many things about Vista's notorious instability that I almost didn't buy a computer until the kinks were worked out. But necessity won out over caution and I reluctantly went ahead and purchased a new laptop a couple months ago. I haven't had any problems with Vista yet.
I will admit that I'd be pretty upset if my computer were locking up on such a regular basis, but isn't it a bit extreme to make it your "life's work" to complain about this? Of course I hope this gets resolved for you, but maybe continuing to pester them is actually counterproductive? Good luck in any event.

You might want to give Mr. gates time to set up a proper press conference to address your problem, these things take time.
Might I suggest you trade in you computer for a Macintosh, these things run like tops and the Operating System is as stable as the day is long
