Zune sucks

We have purchased 2 Zunes for around $500 and Microsoft is extruding $30 per month for Zune software to continue letting us listen to music. My understanding is that when we pay exorbitant prices, for equipment with the understanding service is not needed for $30 per month which equates to $360 per year for this product.

Give me a refund

I don't think you need to pay every month. That's only if you want
the subscription music service. If you rip your own CDs or get your
music elsewhere, then no fees.

Did MS tell you that you're required to pay $30/month just to have the
Zune? Or was that for a subscription music service?

It think (a) you should have do your research better before you bought
this mp3 player, and (b) you seem to have misinterpreted the way the
zune pass works.

The Zune pass isn't required for a zune. I'm also not sure why you're
paying for 2.

"Does it cost extra to put Zune Pass music on a second Zune?
Not at all! You can listen to your Zune Pass music on up to three Zune
players."

"If I cancel my Zune Pass, can I still listen to the music I've
downloaded?
Music you buy using the song credits included with your Zune Pass is
yours to keep. Your Zune Pass must be kept current, however, to
continue to play the music downloaded as part of your subscription.
Zune Pass downloads automatically expire if you don't renew your Zune
Pass."

If you don't like it, buy your music from somewhere else. Amazon sells
mp3 download and many places still sell CDs.
