I have just bought the 'new' Original Premium Saltines, round. Not because I wanted to try a different shape, but because Original Premium Saltines are no longer available. The taste and texture is chalky and dry, no relation to original. Stay fresh 4 packs replaced with loose crackers and fewer ounces, higher price. This 'new' Original loses on every level. I will boycott all products and not have these crackers forced down my throat.

Bring back the saltine. Believe in your consumer more than your false market research.

Why is it "false market research"? If they poll 100 people and 90 prefer by Steve OH (IO) Posted Sun June 24, 2012 @ 3:24 PM the new recipe, they go with the majority. Sure, there are 10 people who don't like it... but they are the minority. You can't please all of the people all of the time. Having said that, I'm always curious when a company starts to explore a new formula. If a product is selling well, they're not getting tons of complaints, and it isn't killing anyone, why mess with it? And if someone comes up with a great new idea (that those 90 people liked), why not introduce it as an additional line? Reply
