I was eating some Vegetable Thins last night that my wife just bought. I've been eating and loving them all my life. YUCH! What did you do? They are now thin and crispy like Bagel Chips or something. They used to be thicker and softish and "melt in my mouth"... I see the box now says, "Great New Recipe"... I don't think so! I don't mind the shape change, I think that's a good idea, but you guys *really* messed up these crackers. I won't be buying them anymore, unfortunately.
Make them taste like they used to!

Agreed. They are horrible now. I have kept purchasing them periodically since the change to see if they would re-tweek the recipe, but, no, an utter waste of my time and money.
Vegetable Thins used to have large flaky pieces of dried vegetable in them and be a little salty and tangy (probably from citric acid or something) but now they are very nondescript. They are so generic tasting now that I have started eating roasted vegetable ritz crackers...yes, one of the most ubiquitous crackers around, and they are far more exciting than vegetable thins since they have changed the recipe.
Too bad. These were my all time favorite cracker. I used to always keep a box in my pantry. Great with dips and spreads, or munching on their own.
Why don't they discontinue yucky "chicken in a biscuit" and bring back the old vegetable thins?
Oh and I actually liked the vegetable shapes (onion, carrot, bell pepper, tomato, celery).
Changing a recipe so it doesn't contain trans fats is a great thing, but changing the recipe so it no longer has the flavor its loyal customers kept coming back for, is completely ignorant. Way to disappoint a loyal brand customer!

I wholeheartedly agree! These used to be my absolute favorite cracker. I bought a box of the new flavor, ate about 3 and rushed to write a letter to Nabisco. I threw that box away & have not bought any Vegetable Thins since. I am so disappointed.
I did hear back from Nabisco. Their response was polite, but it was basically "too bad". Hopefully they will re-address the issue if enough people complain.

Maybe your tastebuds have changed.
No big loss, those are full of fat anyway.
Good Day
