LACK OF customer service

Posted Sat June 2, 2012 5:01 am, by Kattleya F. written to Nail Supply City, Inc.

I simply went to the store with one thought in mind, find and purchase a product - same as many other customers. When I entered I noticed immediately that one of the "owners" had an unhappy demeanor upon her and as I inquired about a product, I was immediately told it was not sold there. When I said I would go look around (for heaven's sake it's a warehouse, of course there is plenty else to buy) I was asked to present my phone number and then photo id, assumably for confirmation for my nail technician license. When I questioned the "owner" about what she was doing and why she needed my information, I was repeatedly ignored. I calmly stated that I was annoyed, and she rudely handed me back my ID and said I had to the store. I refused to leave the store and was taken back by her lack of respect, professionalism, customer service, and honestly, the fake lashes and unbuisnesslike attire. Apparently she was never taught customer service. We bantered back and forth until I decided to leave, because speaking to someone who has no idea what they're saying is beating a dead horse.

Send me a meaningful apology and rethink their ideals about what Customer Service means to them.

So she's to blame because you had to show your ID to gain entrance to
a warehouse portion of her store?

After she already told you they didn't sell the product you wanted?

You were told what you needed to present if you wanted to search. You
refused.

She owes you nothing. You chose to argue with her and got kicked out
for it. And chose to stay to argue with her...

Customer service does NOT mean customers can invent their own rules in
someone else's store.

When the owner tells you to get out it's not debate time. It's time
to get out time. Even if you're mad that she dared tell you that.

It sounds like YOU had a bad attitude about being asked for ID for
proof that you have a right to shop there. And the fact that you
refused to leave when asked says a lot.

not to mention the insults about the owner's makeup. by PepperElf Sat June 2, 2012 @ 2:42 PM
