I called Sprint/Nextel to change my plan and to turn a phone off. Wile trying to turn a phone off I was told that I had a contract till July 1 2009. Sprint said that I had extended my contract to save 5%. I was told by Sprint/Nextel that it could have been a mistake and that I could change it but had to pay atleast $450 Dollars. I have been a paying member since 2003. I would not have extendent a contract for only 5%. So now im stuck with a contract that makes no sence to me. I was calling just to save alittle money and now I cant. I did change my plan but still have 2 phones. and I did change and now saved $10 Dollars.

I want someone to contact me to stop my contact,or i will change to another provider

Think about this for a second. You're making the threat that you're
going to another provider. This means that you'll need to pay the ETF
on all your phones, anyway.

It's not a useful threat, unless you're willing to pay.

Are you?

If not, don't make the threat.

OK, that said... To drop one phone cannot possible be $450. $150,
yes. But not $450. Which suggests to me that there is a
miscommunication here. Call back and confirm the ETF on ONE phone.
