commission sales associates

An hour or two in Nordstrom use to be a time of relaxation when I appreciated the time to take my time to just be there, look around and buy clothes I liked. Now, it is annoying. The sales associates are on commission and I feel hounded. Not less than ten women approach me and each time I say I have a room already. I'm sure they are good people but this commission policy makes them appear desperate. Not a good situation for them or for me. Its uncomfortable for many Nordstrom customers.

I suppose I would like Nordstrom to give each sales associate a territory within their department to roam so they don't have to compete with one another. Free for alls are disorganized and stressful for all.
