Somebody misused my credit information

Posted Thu July 26, 2007 3:05 pm, by Linda P. written to Nordstrom, Inc. - Department Stores

Write a Letter to this Company  |  Rate this Company

I went to purchase a l.a.m.b. purse on 7/4/07 and was told I couldn't purchase it until 7/20. I put it on pre-order, gave the clerk my credit information and I have yet to receive the product. I complained a no. of times all the way up to Erik Nordstrom. Instead of sending me my $450 purse, they sent free lancome samples thru. dhl. I tried to receive the purse or credit and he refused to do either saying it was company policy.

Refund the money they took from me without delivering a product.

I'm sorry but something doesn't seem right here - - it sounds like you
wanted to purchase the purse on 7/4/07 but it wasn't available until
7/20/07 - - the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

You wrote your letter 6 days later and you're trying to say that in
that length of time you have escalated this issue all the way up to
the Executive Vice President and he has personally said that he won't
ship the purse or issue you a credit?

My question is did Nordstrom actually place a charge your credit card
for $450 and you're asking for a refund - - - or are you asking for
them to either ship you the purse or give you a $450 credit because
they didn't ship what you pre-ordered?

You could also sell your lancome samples on Ebay where you'll probably
make a lot of money.

That is certainly true, but... by DragonflygrrlTheGreat Thu July 26, 2007 @ 5:08 PM

Thanks but the samples are ancient by lindainerie Fri July 27, 2007 @ 7:19 AM

Call your credit card company and see if the charges went through or
were reversed. If not, and you cancelled the order, let them know.
They may be able to help you out and cancel the transaction charges.
