Refund for old pair of shoes returned

We had a pair of shoes that my husband used for a while but then the sole broke off and we brought them in. We were kind of uncomfortable bringing in those old shoes, but we had paid a lot of money for them (in our eyes) and felt that they should have lasted a bit longer. Even though the model must have been almost a year old by then, the kind sales person refunded us the money.
We then got the new model of that pair of shoes.

Yes - - they are expensive, but they don't charge anymore than any other store for similar items and their customer service is unbelievable. Reply
