Nordstrom goes the extra mile!

I was looking for a baby blanket I'd seen at a friend's place. She got it at Nordstrom. It was apparently sold out but I called a few stores. An associate found the last one for me, and then found one at a different store. I wanted two. She said it would be cheaper for me if both blankets came from the same store, so she offered to do an internal transfer of one and send them both to me. She didn't have to volunteer to do the extra processing to get the blanket to send to me, but she did.

The blankets arrived immaculately packaged, with very reasonable S&H charges. I am delighted by Nordstrom going the extra mile and by the "can-do" service ethic I experienced. Nordstrom is now firmly established in my mind as a first choice. It's so unusual in America these days.

What a good letter and story! Thanks for taking the time to let
Nordstrom know about this. I wish you had been able to provide them
with her name so she could be recognized, but that's okay. I hope
they have more good people like her on staff.

Nordstrom does provide wonderful customer service - - and it doesn't
matter if you're spending $20 or $200 - - or if you arrive in their
store in jeans or all dressed up - - everyone is treated the same and
you don't end up paying any more for an item at Nordstrom than you
would for the same thing someplace else.
