I recently went into olive garden. and they were fifteen minutes from closing. But they said it was fine to still come in.
But they rushed us out of there and are food was under par. I do go to olive garden once every month or so, and never had a experience like this before

an apology and whatever you think would be a good gesture for your inconvience

I don't think you should have gone in to the restaurant when you knew
they were closing in 15 minutes. In my opinion, if you go into any
establishment that close to closing time, don't expect to be able to
take your time. As a former retail store manager, I know that there
are insurance issues with customers being in the store after closing
time. When you go in that late, you also cause the establishment to
incur additional costs in overtime pay, hvac, electricity, and other
expenses.

Did you expect a *leisurely* meal when you arrived 15 minutes before
close?

John B.,

So, it reads as if you paid your bill and left.

Next time things don't work out in an eating and drinking
establishment speak with the manager and negotiate the "whatever"
while the issue is still on both your minds. This way the manager can
make you happy and he/she can address the issues on a current basis.
Then, once you get home you can write a letter to the company via
PFB.com and tell them how well their "recovery" program works.

I am confident that the company will respond so please stop back and
let us know what they say.

BillR.
