My boyfriend and I went to Olive Garden in the happy valley region of Phoenix Az. I'd like to say we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere but that would be a flat out lie. Our waiter took over 25 minutes to even bring us our drink order even though there were less than 20 people in the entire restaurant. Than there was a hair in my pasta fugoli that I was told was mine ( I have brown hair and this was a platinum blonde hair) and to just wait for my meal if I didn't like the soup. We had ordered an appetizer that never showed up and when our meals finally did arrive they were cold and the pasta was way overcooked. The chicken parm in the tour of italy was god awful. Dried out would be the best thing I could say about it and the fettucine alfredo sauce looked as if it had been watered down so badly that there was no consistency at all. I would recommend that the general manager take a better look at his staff and actually go into the kitchen to check on what was being served to the customers. Also when a customer finds a hair in the food that clearly isn't theirs comp the meal and be done with it. We will not be going back to the Olive Garden anytime soon and will take our 50$ and find a restaurant that will care.

Refund our money and make sure that the staff was properly trained

And the question of the day is - What did the manager say when you
brought this to his/her attention?

You don't pay for your meal then ask for a refund. You insist on
speaking with a manager, complain calmly about all that was wrong with
your meal, and then if it isn't offered to be comped, say you're not
going to pay for it.

(That works only if you eat less than half of each item, I think; no
eating it all then complaining it wasn't good enough to eat.)
