Terrible Dinner Experience

The quality of steaks took a definite turn for the worse about a year ago. Today I ordered my usual, picked it up on time. When I opened the container the food look unappealing. Everything was cold. The steak was mostly grissel and very, very dry. The butter for the bread was about a half a teaspoon. I had to put the food in the mircowave for about a minute to warm it. I still ended up throwing half the steak out. Of the half I had attempted to eat I would say that half was in a pile because it was grissel and impossible to chew, much less swallow.

I used to get very good food. From the same restaurant I would get a juicy steak, still hot when I got home and a tasty side dishes. Now I am just robbed of $20 and left still hungry.

I'm sure the company went to lower quality to make either save costs or generate more profits for the executives...but I would think they are losing more customers than money they thought they would save by substituting substandard meat, fish and other food items.

Return to buying quality meat, fish and side dishes. I would also like my money back for all the lousy meals I foolishly bought from their restaurant. Tonight it was $20, but over the last year it is much, much more than $20.

______

Clarifying the #4 responses. The question asked about customer service, not food quality. But the summary seems to imply more than service. My responses are based on more recent food quality. Service has generally been quite acceptable over time...my issue is with the cost vs quality inequity.

cold when you got home.
that kinda depends on where you live in relation to the restaurant.

i bring this up because the closest outback around here is 30 minutes
away. so if i ordered something to-go it would also be cold by the
time i got it home.

did you check it before you left?

And after nuking a steak I wouldnt expect it to be tender anymore
either.

I wont even eat outback steaks, to me they are always like steak
flavored taffy, very weird texture. Plus I was told by someone who
worked there that it isnt really tenderloin, its mock tenderloin thats
soaked in a tenderizing brine.

is an OK idea, but you keep giving them your hard-earned money.
Hopefully corporate gives them a shake-up. Until then, stop rewarding
them for the crappy food!
