Panasonic Viera - Not Internet Capable

Posted Sun May 13, 2012 2:53 pm, by Bud M. written to Panasonic

Write a Letter to this Company

I purchased a Panasonic plasma TV ,model TC-50S30
in February of this year. The internet connection fails to hold and as a result it drops anything on Netflix , Amazon, etc. I started calling the Panasonic Virea "Concierge" service in March. After numerous calls and so called referrals to supposedly higher level of expertise, I was told that "some" Panasonic TV owners had reported the problem and that a software fix was in the works. The last word I had from Panasonic was approx, one month ago repeating that there was software fix.I followed up a week ago and received no response.

Within the next 15 days, either get software fix out or refund my money and pick up the set. I specifically bought this for the internet capability and I choose Panasonic because of product reliability.

As for your demand of "release it in 15 days or refund me" - that
doesn't work the way you think it does.

but hey... i don't feel like explaining how much work it takes to
write programs. and that you can't just pull one out of your behind
instantly, no matter how easy a customer thinks it is to do just
that.

so instead i'll say... let them release it now.
even if it's incomplete. cos sometimes giving in to demands like that
is... the best way to show people why you can't rush programming.
