False Advertising

Posted Sat July 28, 2012 12:00 pm, by Michael E. written to Papa John's Pizza

I called the Syracuse Utah Papa John's location and was put on hold for about 5 minutes in which I was hung up on. I called again and was placed on hold again and the automated message advertised for the Buffalo Chicked Pizza at $10.00. When the girl took my call I asked for it and she said they didn't offer it, I then asked for the manager and he told me he needed to get that message changed but said he didn't have the products to honor the promotion. This is false advertising and I am very pissed.

what's really blowing my mind is that there's a Syracuse in Utah.

I wonder if it gets the same freaky amount of snow the Syracuse, NY
gets...

wouldn't have even known about it. It's not like you called in
response to an ad. But it was a limited-time promotion, and it's
over. It's not really much different than if they ran out of the
ingredients when the the promotion was running - if they can't make
it, they can't make it.

Most likely it's a "participating locations" offer, which means they don't have to sell it if it's a privately owned PJ's. Even if a customer says "false advertising" by PepperElf Sun July 29, 2012 @ 12:59 AM
