Employee treatment by rude customer.

Posted Mon May 21, 2007 12:00 pm, by Zachary E. written to Paramount Canada's Wonderland

Write a Letter to this Company

On Victoria Day my friends and I went to Paramount Canada's Wonderland at park closing they were out of hot dogs, they only had sausages left.

This lady wanted one for her child, and was told that they ran out. The people in front of her had gotton the last hotdog, and she started to demand that they give it to her because she had a child and children should get food first. The person had already paid for their hotdog and they did not want to give it up. She was arguing with them, when the person at the booth tried to calm things down. The employee tried to calm things down and she started calling him racist names. (He was African American. An Indian person in line tried to help calm her down and she then turned on her and called her racist names as well. I think you should know tha ***** handled the situation well.

I got news for people like this lady- kids are not that important.
Every a-hole you run into was an a-hole kid.
Nobody cares about your kids, even though you think they are the
greatest thing on Earth. Most people think they are mini-a-holes in
the making.

Zachary, this letter really bothers me, not for anything you did, I
think it's great you let them know. This parent needs some kind of
serious help... maybe parenting skills or anger management classes.
What is most revolting to me is what was left out.

Violence of ANY type in public is upsetting enough, can you imagine
how this child is treated behind closed doors at home? I'd relay these
facts to the authorities and to the management of the venue, although
it's too late now, but I think seeing this would shock me.

I do hope others got involved on some level...maybe someone got their
plate number...you did right.

Sounds like this parent has some serious mental problems of her own.
It just kills me, you have to have a license to have a dog but some
people should just not have kids.

I can't believe she had the nerve to ask someone to give up their
hotdog for her kid, especially since the kid already had one.

I'm glad you let them know that the employee handled this correctly
and was not at fault.

Wow, sounds like the employee did their best to try to calm the
situation; shame on that parent!

Also, I don't know if I should have added this in the letter, but the
mother was out of control after this and the daughter spoke to her and
the mother punished the child for interupting by pulling her hair and
hitting her at the back of the head with the heal of her hand and
called her an ungrateful b**** because she was fighting to get her a
hot dog and she (the daughter) intrupted her conversation with Jameel.
